No matter what are we in… I still know that all of us, deep inside, want to believe in impossible things. I, for instance, believe in miracles and those who won’t open their her will not see it … As a saying goes “Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it”.

I also have a strong belief in psychics and I have visited many of them, over the years. These included tarot card readers, astrologers, numerologists, psychic-mediums, clairvoyants, etc. Some of them were accurate and others… I would rather forget about as soon as I left them or put the phone down.

Given the many unsatisfactory experiences I have had, I have to ask myself: Why do I still believe in psychics?

What I have learned

To engage properly with a talented psychic requires belief in a positive outcome.

For myself, I know that psychics have helped me overcome some challenging moments in my life. They have helped me with difficult decisions such as moving to a different country and making painful – but necessary – emotional changes in my life.

Psychics have listened to me when nobody else would: they heard my doubts and guided & assisted me in making difficult, often heart-breaking decisions.

These gifted people have also encouraged me to look at life from a different angle and have given me fresh and valuable perspectives and insights that I could never have reached on my own. I know I am in a better position in life as a result of their help and guidance.

How psychics help

Describing the feeling of how a psychic helps is difficult. We are all gifted with intuition, the feeling that something is right for us, without being able to explain why we know this. We call it “going with our gut”.

A gifted psychic helps to deepen this “gut sense”. Through an understanding of our real needs, psychics, in my experience, help us to bring our intuition to the surface: they give us the confidence to embrace and trust our gut instincts. They provide the assurance that our future is in our own hands and that we have the power to change our lives.

Gaining control

Recently I read a fascinating article from a group of Australian researchers. They offered the hypothesis that belief in psychic prediction can be positively correlated to a sense of control over one’s life.

Another new study has found that people who believe that psychics can predict the future tend to feel more in control of their lives than those who don’t.

These findings appeal to me – and tie in with my own experience: in the past, when I found myself going through a difficult time, going to a psychic allowed me steady myself and get on top of things again.

The answer to the question

I believe in the power of psychic consultation because I have proof that it works and is valuable. A psychic helps me gain clarity and insight, and he or she helps me feel in control.

Psychics have given me hope to explore and achieve what at first seemed impossible. That’s the kind of magic I believe in.
